So, on Friday, I woke up to a lovely ring tone and an invite to hang out for like two hours before a big drill team party thing. Of course, I accepted. :)
The hanging out went awesome. Right before we left though, the swing I was swinging on broke suddenly (no, I didn't weigh too much for it, haha). Like, the swing snapped off the strap thing. So I dropped into the ground - on my ankle, not my butt. Which made me think I'd broken my ankle. But I could move my toes. So maybe it was a sprain? Nope, I can roll my ankle. Must just be a shock/bad twist. So I went to the party like normal.
And I rode dirtbikes, took a go-kart off a dirt bike jump like seven times and did normal stuff. In retrospect, I probably should've rested more but I didn't.
On Saturday, I acted normal, hobbling a bit. Had my dad wrap it up in an Ace bandage and I iced it a bit.
Sunday I walked on it a lot. Easter egg hunting, church-going...had to walk. Wasn't so smart. My parents banished me to the couch as soon as they could.
Today, Monday, I had a doctor's appointment. Turns out I sprained it. And it's a bad sprain too. But I'm telling everyone it's a slight sprain so they won't worry. Like, I'm not supposed to run for like 4 - 5 weeks!! I leave for USAFA soon - I *have* to run. This week especially I'm not allowed to do a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g. ARGH.
And I talked to Jason based on Sarah's recommendation. And I was all like "my crazy friend from COS says I should ask you blah blah but I'm not going to and blah blah" and after his "haha, that's funny, lol" he's like "you're too good anyway" What? Did he just like say no in a nice way because I'm a "good girl"? I think that's probably the first time that's ever happened hahahaha!!! But it's kinda funny...like who gets turned down cause they're too good?
Whatever.
Life goes on.
