Karen, good luck not dating until after college. I feel that that, while a good goal, is unrealistic. A better goal is to not let dating interfere with schoolwork by setting specific boundaries for yourself. You're really good at saying no to guys, better than I am, and that will help you. Only date a guy if you really want to. And if you really want to date a guy, you should date him. You have really high standards as it is. I know a lot of people don't meet their soulmate until after college but college is a time to learn about what you really want in life. I think not dating freshman year is a good idea, but I wouldn't swear off guys until after college. Not like you're in any danger of becoming an old maid. Just... no regrets, kay?
