At home on Thanksgiving leave. Went for a 2.5 mile run yesterday - very fun. No running today for Thanksgiving but I'll probably run every other day of leave. It's just a bit too cold to run at USAFA right now...depressing, I know. I wish it would snow...ugh.

I finished reading Sphere the other day and am now watching the movie as well as reading The Matarese Circle. Went and saw "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1" last night with the family. It was really good - I can't wait for the second part to come out. :)

Need to hang out with Hannah and Sarah sometime this weekend - probably Saturday but idk when we will

Painted my nails this morning for funsies and am now just chilling, surfing the net, drinking coffee and waiting for Thanksgiving dinner in 4 hours. yay....

So...things are going along nicely at USAFA. I'm almost finished for Thanksgiving break. I have two classes left and then I'm peacing out. I have to finish my EM report and turn it in tomorrow during first period or give it to Josh to turn in during a later period...haven't decided yet. I guess it depends on how much I'm packed. I haven't checked in to my flight yet but I'm probably not going to. I thought about it but I have to go up to the counter anyway to check my luggage soo...yeah, might as well just do it there.

Break is going to be good but I have a feeling I'm going to be slightly overwhelmed when I get back so I'm trying to get some stuff done. I know I have a paper to write on break and some work in Comp Sci but a) Comp Sci is not a big deal and b) the paper shouldn't take long. In fact, I can probably write the paper on my flight for the most part... It'll be an interesting trip to be sure. I can't wait to return - especially cause Daddy said he'd work with me on driving standard.

Which is a nice segue into Dan hahaha... He said if he can find another standard he'll teach me to heel-toe, double clutch, pop the clutch, and basically all the racing techniques. Makes me happy cause I love that sort of stuff. I'm definitely excited to drive standard more often - I kinda pretty much love it and I've only done it once :) Totally wore long-sleeve blues today. It's chillyish but nice out. As Dan would say, "It smells like Christmas."

I need to go shopping for Christmas gifts and more than that, I need the money I transferred into the USAA account from ING to actually go through... ugh. It takes waaaay too long. So frustrating... I have theatre tickets to buy...

Laundry day at USAFA. I actually quite enjoy doing laundry here. Especially because I can sit here and smell the lovely smells, relax, watch movies and wait for my laundry to finish. It's all done now but I'm still sitting here...amazing.

I woke up this morning and decided to head out with Dan to go chill. He was making breakfast for his squadron so we couldn't go just yet. But when he finished we headed to Garden of the Gods. We went off the well-beaten path and started wandering through the rocks. After looking around a lot, we found a branch that had fallen horizontally over the edge of a cliff and sat on it. My legs dangled and I felt like a little girl again. It was pretty much amazing and I had a blast. I'm pretty sure we sat on that log for about an hour watching it snow and just sitting there... We talked, laughed and had an awesome time. :) I had almost the best time ever...

On the way back from Garden of the Gods, we stopped for lunch, which he insisted he buy for me. :) I had an amazing time there and then we had to come back so he could sit CQ. I turned on a movie and went to do my laundry.

My hair is so dark right now becuase I dyed it again and it's always super dark on the first day but it'll lighten up soon. Only twenty-five minutes left in my movie and then I shall get my laundry, return to my room, do my EngrMech prelab, work on my Law Mock Trial case, watch a Worlds' Debate and study some for my Econ GR next week.
